Melissa started her love for dance at the age of 4 training with Suzanne’s Dancers in the bay area. She performed competitively for 10 years earning numerous awards and scholarships and trained in tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, lyrical, and acro until the age of 17. While earning a degree from San Jose State in Business Management and Child Development, Melissa continued to train with Visual Rhythm Dance Company and Nor Cal Dance Project. Melissa currently works at West Valley Dance Company as Program Development Director and Competitive Team instructor. After a few years away from performing Melissa is excited to get back on the stage and share her love for dance.
