Chelsea has been dancing since the age of four and grew up in the South San Francisco Bay Area. She is trained in ballet, pointe, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, modern, jazz, and tap. Chelsea is an active company member of LĪV Dance Collective and Hiyas Philippine Folkdance Company. She has danced competitively throughout the state of California and has choreographed numerous pieces for children and adults. Chelsea has been instructing children’s dance classes for the past 15 years. She is the Founder and Creative Director of MAGIC Dance Arts, a sensory-friendly dance program for children with disabilities and other special needs. She has a Bachelors degree in Psychology, a Masters degree in Early Childhood Special Education, and a minor in Dance Studies. During the day, Chelsea is employed full-time as a case manager for an Autism-specific preschool class. As a professional in both the educational and performing arts fields, Chelsea is dedicated to uniting people of all abilities through creative outlets and artistic expression.
